Getting started
Bring your world
Already playing somewhere else? Upload your saves and files as a .zip and we add them to Mindustry's files, with a backup first.

Stop the server first, then use World in the Settings tab. Files with the same name are replaced and nothing else is deleted. You can download your world as a backup file any time.
How your friends join
Copy your server's address and port from the server page.
In Mindustry, choose Play, then Join Game, and Add Server.
Enter the address with the port, for example 203.0.113.10:6567, and join.

Which version does the server run?
The latest official release, so players who keep the game updated can join.

It is checked on every start. Set Game Version to a release such as v146 if your group stays on an older one: players need the same version as the server.
How do I become admin?
Join the server, then type admin add and your player name in the console.
Can I play PvP?
Yes. Choose PvP as the game mode with a PvP map.

How do I start a new game?
Use the console: stop ends the current game, then host starts a new one.
